The Thursday<\/strong> before Easter is known as either Maundy Thursday<\/strong>, or Holy Thursday<\/strong>. Maundy<\/strong> is derived from the Latin word for “command,” and refers to Jesus’ commandment to the disciples to “Love one another as I have loved you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join in with worship from Wesley\u2019s Chapel<\/a> \u2013 services at 10am, 12.45pm, and 7pm or at Swanbank Methodist Church<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the Lectionary resources <\/a>to reflect on the readings of the day or use one of the service sheets<\/a> to reflect on times in our lives when we have felt abandoned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
